Growing up, I was constantly organizing various collections and toys. As an over-involved student, being organized was critical to managing it all. Throughout my time working in healthcare, retail, federal service, and hospitality, I strove to bring order to chaos through process and organization.
After realizing my unique position to help others, I created Honeybee & Chickadee. Today, that same passion for details extends beyond the home — into the words you share and the trips you take.
Fun fact: "Melissa" is Greek for honeybee — and just like honeybees build efficient hexagonal comb, I love creating systems that are functional and elegant.
